Description: The Fulvia Berlina was designed to replace the Appia, which had reached the end of its production cycle with the third series, and was conceived as an elegant small-displacement vehicle. The engine, designed by Ettore Zaccone Mina, once again adopted the narrow-V architecture, following the experience with horizontal cylinders of the Flavia. This was a compromise that Engineer Fessia had to accept under pressure from the historic component of the Technical Management.
The GTE model, such as the one we are offering, reached a displacement of 1.3 liters, mounting the same engine as the Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.3. This version is the rarest and most sought-after by collectors, as it was produced in limited numbers (from 1968 to 1969) and is also the most powerful of all the 4-speed Fulvia Berlina models.
This example we are offering is exceptionally well-preserved, having always remained in the warm and dry climate of Sicily, in excellent condition both in bodywork and mechanically.
