In 1974 a more substantial restyling gave birth to the Nuova Giulia Super. What changed were the front end (new black plastic grille, different Alfa Romeo badge, smooth engine hood), the bumpers (more wraparound), the rear (smooth trunk lid, different light layout) and the interior (revised dashboard, center console with front ventilation vents, carpeted floor, seats with headrests). As for the mechanics, there were no changes. The range remained composed of the “1.3” version with 89 HP and the “1.6” version with 102 HP. Despite the years that had passed, the Giulia continued to stand out, even in this latest version, for its engine, chassis and aerodynamic qualities: a well-known specialist magazine noted “the fastest 1300 sedan on the market.”
This example we are offering, in its Dutch blue, is preserved in truly excellent condition and even comes with its service booklet where all the maintenance performed since new is recorded. A singular find considering its 51 years of life.
