In 1965, the New Fiat 500 F was introduced as the successor to the Fiat 500 D, becoming the best-selling version of all the Cinquecento models produced. The 500 F is distinguished by the transition to front-hinged doors (eliminating “suicide doors”) and simplified chrome moldings compared to the previous D version. The design maintained classic lines but featured improvements such as a wider windshield, a rear roof integrated into the mold, and new push-button handles. The interior was simple, featuring clear round instrumentation and, from 1968, solid-colored upholstery. Externally, the F version saw a reduction in chrome compared to the previous series, with plastic used for certain details like the license plate light from 1966. The 500 F represented the definitive success of the Italian city car, with over 2 million units produced between the F and L series. This specific example we are offering has been fully restored and modified to the previous owner’s preferences.
